The Red Wagon Ministry, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was formed to meet a pressing need for families. By providing basic hygiene necessities for both adults and babies, our hope is to lessen incidents of social and medical concerns due to an inadequate supply of disposable products.
In 2008, with the use of a red wagon, the Ministry helped to “diaper the need” by collecting and donating 10,000 baby diapers to Congregational Community Action Project (CCAP). In May of 2013, the Ministry’s Articles of Incorporation were amended to assist those in need of adult disposable underwear, briefs, and incontinence pads.
The Red Wagon Ministry is an all volunteer agency that uses nearly 100 percent of its funding to purchase these basic necessities. Today, the Ministry has distributed over 1.35 million items which have been donated by many living, working, and worshiping within the community.
